President's Page
After completing a tour of duty with the USAF and returning from South East Asia in 1967 I worked for a contractor of the Atomic Energy Commission at the Nevada test site. My duty was maintenance and operation of HF transmitters and later 2-way radio followed by closed circuit television and microwave systems. During that time I was given the opportunity to attend the University of Nevada at Las Vegas paid by the GI Bill and my employer pursuing a degree in Business management and marketing.
I have
operated a telecommunications business through the 70's and joined the RCA
Service company in 1980 as a field engineer for television transmitters.
Later positions with Post Newsweek in Miami as a supervisor of the transmitter
plant and moving to project design/sales as SE RF manager for Midwest
Communications. I have served as Director of Engineering for two
commercial broadcast groups, national sales manager for two transmitter
manufacturers, regional director of engineering for PAX (ION) TV, as well as, a
professional broadcast RF consultant and manufacturer of solid-state
transmitters. I have consulted as VP, and national sales for digital
microwave systems acting as a design resource for the customer and value added
reseller of products. My latest venture was a Sr Broadcast Engineer with
Qualcomm, Inc building the FLO-TV network.
