To place digital microwave into perspective with the analog . . . it would take
8 analog microwaves to transport the same information that could be conveyed
over one 45 Mb digital system.
The Moseley DTV Link is a digital 45Mb microwave radio system operating in the 7
and 13 Ghz bands. The system consists of 5 inputs, SMPT 310, ASI 1, ASI 2, DS 3,
T1. In full duplex operation all inputs have matching outputs and the T1 becomes
an Ethernet/LAN connection.
The Moseley DTV Link is the most cost effective fully digital microwave system
on the market today. There are no additional costly upgrades to make it perform
for 1080i HDTV or transport multiple standard definition sources. Future
technology on encoders/decoders providing improved MPEG schemes will be the only
changes that will be needed.
The Moseley technology will provide many years of dependable, transparent, and
most importantly, “cost effective” operation.
